Day 1, arrive Dubrovnik, Saturday (WR)

You will be transferred from Dubrovnik airport or from your hotel in Dubrovnik to Gruz Harbor where embarkation begins at noon. Later, you will meet your fellow travelers and your Cruise Manager for an onboard welcome reception and dinner. This evening, you can relax on board or take a stroll through Dubrovnik’s Old Town.

Day 2, Dubrovnik – Mljet, Sunday (B, L)

Start the day with a walking tour of Dubrovnik, the “Pearl of Adriatic” and a UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll visit the Rector’s Palace and Franciscan Monastery’s Pharmacy before returning to the boat for lunch. As you dine, set sail for Mljet Island. Mljet National Park features five types of forest, many species of birds, and two deep lakes, Veliko Jezero (Big Lake) and Malo Jezero (Small Lake). Evening at leisure.

Day 3, Mljet – Korcula, Monday (B, L)

After morning to enjoy the spectacular scenery, continue cruising to Korcula, believed to be the birthplace of the explorer Marco Polo. Walking tour of Korcula takes you through its narrow, cobbled streets and includes a visit to the majestic Gothic-Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. (B, L)

Day 4, Korcula – Vela Luka, Tuesday (B, L)

This morning we sail along the beautiful island of Korcula, including time for swimming. After lunch onboard, disembark in Vela Luka and depart for an afternoon ‘Korcula tour’, featuring the visit of the olive oil factory, Barilo ethno museum and local winery to taste some local wine and cheese. Return to your ship, for evening at leisure. (B, L)

Day 5, Vela Luka – Vis, Wednesday (B, L)

Cruise towards Vis island. The town of Vis, the antique Issa, was founded around 397 B.C. Our tour of Vis features the town’s waterfront. In 2017 the movie “Mama Mia! Here We Go Again” was filmed here. Our tour of Vis features the town’s waterfront and its spectacular and unspoiled nature. The evening is at leisure to stroll the waterfront, enjoy dinner or a drink as you watch the magnificent sunset. Evening at leisure. (B, L)

Day 6, Vis – Hvar – Stari Grad, Thursday (B, L, D)

Continue our cruise towards the island of Hvar, one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jet-set. The “Croatian Madeira” is also one of the longest islands stretching along the shores of Croatia. A sightseeing tour of Hvar town shows you the first public theatre in Europe (older than Shakespeare’s theatre in the UK), the Franciscan Monastery and many more historical sights. Sail on to Stari Grad for the night. Captain’s dinner with live entertainment aboard our ship tonight.

Day 7, Stari Grad – Bol – Split, Friday (B, L)

Sail to Bol, home to one of the best beaches in Croatia, the Golden Horn. This vast, golden pebble beach is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Over lunch on board, continue sailing to Split. Here, a walking tour shows off the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. Your evening is free in Split.

Day 8, Split – Plitvice Lakes – Opatija, Saturday (B, D)

Disembark after breakfast, bidding your crew farewell. Journey north for a visit to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Have your camera at the ready as you take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with its 16 terraced lakes surrounded by wooded mountains and lush vegetation. Then continue to Opatija. Dinner is at your hotel.

Day 9, Pula & Rovinj Excursion, Sunday (B)

Head to Pula and take an orientation tour of this strategic port since the times of the ancient Romans. You’ll also visit the Amphitheater, the sixth largest of its kind to be preserved in the world today. Continue on to the beautiful resort of Rovinj. There’s free time to explore the old town and its narrow lanes before we return to Opatija.

Day 10, Opatija – Postojna – Venice, Monday (B)

After breakfast, travel to Slovenia and visit the unique and beautiful Postojna Caves, one of the largest in Europe. Tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Continue to Venice, with its idyllic setting on 119 islands. Dinner is on your own.

Day 11, Venice, Tuesday (B, D)

We begin our exploration of Venice with a boat ride to the Murano Island, famous for its artistic glassware. Visit a glassblowing factory, where you will watch a demonstration of traditional Venetian glassblowing by master craftsmen. Then, on to St. Mark’s Square, for the walking tour, visiting St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace, and enjoying views of the Bell Tower and Bridge of Sighs. The balance of the day is at leisure to enjoy Venice at your own pace, shop, or perhaps join an optional gondola ride. Later, gather for a Farewell Dinner with new friends.

Day 12, depart Venice, Wednesday

You will be transferred to Venice’s airport for your flight home. (B)

M/Y Adriatic Prestige

The M/Y Prestige is classified as 5-star and is 160 ft. long, 29.5 ft. wide, with a cruising speed of 10 NM. The ship is new, built in 2015 to new EU Solis standards with full radar and navigation systems. The maximum passenger capacity is 42/44 persons, serviced by a Crew of 7 and an on board English speaking Cruise Manager (8). The spacious cabins feature twin/double beds, private bathrooms with showers and hair dryers, LCD flat screen TV’s, safe deposit boxes, telephones (for on ship communication), efficient closet space and are fully air conditioned. Low deck cabins have portholes. Main deck cabins have small windows, some that open.
