Day 0 Fly USA to China
Day 1 Arrival Beijing (O)
Transfer to your hotel. Due to various arrivals, meals are on your own.
Day 2 Beijing (B, L)
Morning city tour of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit the Summer Palace. The balance of the day, including dinner is on your own.
Day 3 Beijing (B, L, SD)
Excursion to the Great Wall. On your way back, visit a Jade carving factory. Afternoon: Sacred Way and the Ming Tombs. In the evening enjoy a welcome dinner featuring the famous Peking Duck!
Day 4 Beijing - Xian (B, L)
Sightseeing includes the Lama Temple and the Temple of Heaven. Bejing noodle lunch. Fly to Xian. Balance of the day is free.
Day 5 Xian (B, L)
Tour the Terra Cotta Museum, visit a Ceramic and Art Workshop. Noodle making demonstration. Wild Goose Pagoda and the ancient city walls. Optional dinner and Tang Dynasty performance.
Day 6 Xian - Chongqing - Embark (B, D) Morning free. After lunch on your own fly to Chongqing. A Sichuan flavored dinner is followed by embarkation.
Day 7 Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D) Excursion to Fengdu “Jade Emporer”. Captain’s Welcome Banquet.
Day 8 Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D) Morning Optional Tour to the White Emperor City. Following passage thru the Qutang and Wu Gorges, enjoy an excursion to the Goddess Stream. Captains Farewell Banquet.
Day 9 Yichang - Shanghai - Disembark (B) Tour the Three Gorges dam. *Optional Excursion: ferry sailing through the TGD Ship Elevator. Disembark and fly to Shanghai. Balance of the day is free. Dinner on your own.
Day 10 Shanghai (B, L)
Sightseeing of the Yu Yuan Gardens, the Bund and the Shanghai Museum. Dinner is on your own. *Optional Chinese Acrobat performance is available!
Day 11 Shanghai – HOME (B)
