After a pause of 2 years, we were delighted to operate two Danube Discovery cruises from Vienna to Bucharest this September and October. We want to extend our special thanks to our crew and our fabulous guests who braved all the COVID restrictions and testing requirements to sail through 7 countries. The sailings operated without any major issues, and based on early client comments the long awaited return to river cruising was a hit. We believe we see the light at the end of the tunnel and look forward to 2022 getting back to the “new” normal.
The good news is that during the pause in cruise operations we used the opportunity to upgrade some of the ships sailing on our most popular itineraries for 2022. On the aforementioned 12 day Danube Discovery cruise we will be sailing aboard the m/s “River Governess”, built in 2010 and renovated in 2019, featuring a maximum of 136 passengers
and a full 2 decks with French Balconies. Our Russian River cruises we will be utilizing the fully renovated “Little Prince” featuring an increased number of larger deluxe cabins, a new Sky Bar on the sun deck and a full deck of Jr. Suites with balconies. On our Adriatic cruises we are introducing the newest 5* mega yacht “My Wish” built in 2020 and one of the first Adriatic vessels featuring full balconies on the upper deck. Last but not least we are re-introducing the highly popular Douro cruises in Portugal with the exceptional “Douro Cruiser” featuring walk out balconies on the upper deck.
